Trattoria Gia, as it was known then, based in the Merchant City & ran by husband & wife team Daniele & Theresa Giannoni, became a firm favourite for many people from the East End of Glasgow & beyond. Often welcoming visitors from all over the world the family-run restaurant became a firm favourite for many.
In 2019 came a move to the East End and a slight name change to Gia’s bringing us closer to our customers, many of whom have become good friends of Gia’s over the years. Our passion for what we do is the same as it was when Trattoria Gia was opened many years ago.
Now run by Theresa and family, using the same family recipes handed down through generations, we strive as always to be the best. Continually creating and adding new dishes to our impressive menu takes us to the next level of serving our loyal customers for any occasion.
Whether you're looking for a place to unwind after a hard day's work, a family night out, a cute date night, lunch with the in-laws or a girls day out, everyone's welcome. From our delicious pasta dishes, fresh from the sea seafood, mouthwatering steaks and sourdough pizzas, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Not forgetting, of course, our Italian wines & beers or perhaps a cocktail or two!
